My name is Shamus Keogh, I'm a Boa Stage and Screen 2026 alumnus, where I studied Writing, Directing and Screen Craft, where I learnt the different core practices needed to take a project through all stages of production.

During my time at Boa, I worked on projects such as Reheat, Bolivia, Brainrot, and Waiting on Warm Weather, taking on roles including Director, Writer, DOP, Gaffer, and various production support positions, some credits being "smaller" than others. I also had the opportunity to perform at a Halloween scarefest live event, where a few others and I had to stay in character throughout the night and interact with guests in a high‑energy, immersive manner.

I achieved Triple D* in my BTEC course at Boa, which made it possible for me to get into Escape Studios, my first choice for University.
That is where I will start my journey into learning game design.

I have wanted to get into that career for years, and with my experience in storytelling and team management, I hope to create an engaging and enjoyable game by the end of my time at Ecape Studios.
